Account Cloud Inc ("Account Cloud", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our hosted accounting platform and related services (collectively, the "Services").

By using our Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

We collect information you provide when you register for an account, use our Services, or contact us for support, including:

(a) Account registration information such as name, email address, company name, and billing information;

(b) Customer Data — financial records, transaction data, and other information you upload to or store within the platform;

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you access our Services, we automatically collect certain technical information, including:

(a) Log data such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited, time and date of access, and referring URLs;

(b) Device information including hardware model, operating system, and unique device identifiers;

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your Customer Data to train machine learning models or for any purpose other than providing the Services to you.

Customer Data is retained for the duration of your subscription and for up to 30 days following termination of your account, after which it is securely deleted or anonymized. You may request earlier deletion of your data subject to applicable legal obligations. Back-up copies of Customer Data are retained for a minimum of 30 days as described in our Terms of Service.

5. DATA SECURITY

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption of data in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security assessments.

While we take reasonable precautions, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information and encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your Account Cloud account.

In the event of a data breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you without undue delay and in any case within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, as required by applicable law.

6. COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our Services and hold certain information. Cookies are files with a small amount of data which may include an anonymous unique identifier.

We use the following types of cookies:
